Privacy Policy

Who we are

OurVision is published by Oikodomeo, a sole proprietorship registered in France:

We are the controller of the personal information processed through the app. For any privacy question, write to privacy@oikodomeo.fr.

What we collect

Your account

• Email address. Used to sign you in, with Apple or with a code sent to you by email. If you sign in with Apple and share your name, the app suggests your first name; you can change it.
• First name. The name you choose. Your partner sees it.
• Year of birth. Used to check that you are at least 18, with your confirmation that you are. The app does not show it to your partner.
• Preferences. How your home screen is arranged, the finish of the buttons, and whether you want notifications.

Your shared space

• About the two of you. Your names, the date you met, a motto, a cover photo, and the time zone of the space.
• Vision board. Photos, videos and words you add.
• Projects. Titles, notes, places, dates and steps.
• Calendar. Events you add: title, dates, place, notes, reminders and repeats.
• Album. Photos, videos and albums. For a photo, the date it was taken, read from the photo file.
• Files. For each photo or video: its size, dimensions and, for a video, its length.

Your phone's calendar, if you connect it

Connecting your phone's calendar is optional. The app then reads the calendars you choose, on your phone. Titles, places and notes stay on your phone. Only the start and end of each busy period is sent, so your partner sees "Busy". You can disconnect at any time: your busy periods are then removed.

Your subscription

Your account identifier is shared with RevenueCat so we know whether your subscription is active. We store the product, the store and the expiry date.

Security

When you join a space with a code, we record the time of each attempt to limit guessing.

What we do not collect

• Your location. The app does not ask for it.
• Your contacts or address book.
• Any data for advertising. The app shows no ads.
• Any data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Photos are converted before upload, which leaves out the location data your phone may have attached to them. Videos are uploaded with the data your phone attached to them, which can include where they were filmed. We do not read or use that data.

How we use your information

We use your information only to run the app:

• to create your account and sign you in;
• to check that you are at least 18;
• to store what you add and show it to the other member of your space;
• to manage your subscription.

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the performance of our contract with you for your account, your space and your subscription.

Your shared space

A space is shared by two people. What one member adds, the other member sees.

Your year of birth and the details of your phone's calendar are not shown to your partner.

Sensitive information

Photos you add may reveal sensitive information, as defined in Article 9 of the GDPR, for example in intimate photos. They are stored like the rest of your space and seen only by the two members.

Service providers

We use the following providers to run the app. They process data on our behalf.

Reminders are scheduled on your phone. No notification service receives their content.

We do not sell or share personal information.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored by Supabase in the United States (region us-east-1).

If you live in the European Economic Area, this means your data is transferred outside the EEA. This transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission, included in Supabase's data processing agreement.

Retention and deletion

• Content you remove disappears from your space right away. It stays on our servers until the space is deleted.
• If you are the only member of your space when you delete your account, your account, the space, everything in it and all its files are deleted.
• If your partner is still in the space, your account and your profile are deleted. Your partner keeps the space and everything in it, including what you added.

You can delete your account in the app, under Us, then Settings, or without opening the app, from our account deletion page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your personal information, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy of it, and to object to or restrict its processing.

You can download a copy of your data in the app, under Us, then Settings, then Export my data. For any other request, write to privacy@oikodomeo.fr.

If you live in the European Union, you can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In France, this is the CNIL (cnil.fr).

California residents

We do not sell or share personal information.

The categories of personal information we collect, and the purposes for which we use them, are listed in the sections above. You have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. Write to privacy@oikodomeo.fr.

Minimum age

OurVision is for people aged 18 and over. We check your year of birth at sign-up.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
